Rev. Scott Bacon serves as the pastor of St. Paul Lutheran
Church. Scott graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance and
worked as an auditor for several years before deciding to attend seminary. He
graduated from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago with a MDiv in
Theology in 2001. He has served churches in Hobe Sound, Florida and Paris, Ohio
before serving at St. Paul. He currently serves on synod council and active in
numerous service and ministerial organizations. Scott is married to Nancy, who
also happens to be a pastor and serves at Christ Lutheran Church in Massillon.
They have a daughter, Noel. Scott enjoys woodworking, reading, outside sports,
Tex-M ex and Thai food, traveling, and hiking with the family. |

Holly Boreman serves as the Director of the Adult, the
Bell, the Chime, the High School/ College, and Junior Choirs at St. Paul. She
graduated from Wittenberg University with a BA in English. She is an
accomplished vocalist, and has studied with Jane Otten, Margaret Kommel, and
Kellie Curtis-Malone. She has been a member of a professional singing group, as
well. She and her husband, Tom, live in Smithville with their two daughters. She
enjoys cross-stitching, reading, cooking, and card-making. |

Dr. Thomas Boreman serves as organist and pianist at St. Paul. He has served for 30 years in music ministry,
which he counts as a great joy and an honor. He also serves as accompanist to the Adult and Young Adult Choirs.
He is the author of “Hymns for the Church Year,” a helpful guide for suggesting specific hymns related to the lectionary
(published in the Northeast Ohio Synod monthly newsletter and website). He graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA
in Biology and a DDS degree. His dentistry practice has been in the same location in Smithville since 1975.
Tom and his wife, Holly, and their two daughters live in Smithville. Tom enjoys being with his family, photography,
oil and acrylic painting, working with polymer clay, and toiling contentedly in the garden. |

Tim Mann is one of the two professional organists of St. Paul.
Tim has been interested in music and the organ from a young age and began his career as an organist in his home parish
in St. John's Lutheran Church in Otwell, Indiana at the age of thirteen. He is a graduate of Indiana University School
of Music with a Bachelor of Science in Organ Performance with an Outside Field in Organ Technology. Tim is Vice-President
of Marketing at Schantz Organ Company in Orrville, the largest pipe organ builder in the United States.
He and his wife Nicole live in Wooster with their four children. |

| Nicole Mann serves as the Director of Christian Education.
Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Indiana University
with a teaching certification for secondary education and a master's degree in
community counseling from the University of Akron. She worked as a children's
mental health therapist for several years before deciding to become a very busy
stay at home mom. Nicole lives in Wooster with her husband Tim and their four
children. She enjoys reading, traveling, and gardening. |

Brian Miller serves as the youth minister. He graduated from Smithville High
School and attended the University of Akron and Wayne College. Brian was
a member of the national organization, Youth Encounter, and traveled
with one of their youth ministry bands. In addition to serving the
youth, he also helps with the Saturday evening service and leads the
church band. Brian enjoys playing and watching sports, playing and
listening to Christian music, and just hanging out and acting goofy with
the youth. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends,
feeling God has blessed him in so many ways. |
